Alimos Mid-Rise Apartments: A Neutral Form Rooted in Its Setting

Located in Alimos, along the Athenian Riviera, this multi-family mid-rise is designed to integrate naturally into its surroundings.

Our vision was to craft a structure that resonates with the natural beauty and maritime essence of Alimos. The building’s silhouette draws inspiration from the graceful contours of a ship, paying homage to the area’s rich nautical heritage. This design choice not only reflects the seaside character of this part of Athens but also establishes a harmonious connection with the surrounding environment.

The design speaks in natural, organic materials, balancing warmth with clean architectural lines. Limewashed walls add depth and softness, their textured surface shifting with the light.  Natural wood accents introduce organic warmth, offsetting the structure’s contemporary geometry. Matte black details ground the composition, offering a crisp contrast that amplifies the material palette’s quiet sophistication.
